Biography
Yves St-Amant has been a professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering since 2004. He teaches in the fields of vibration, control and power transmission components. His research is highly experimental and focuses on the vibratory behavior of structures and rotating machines, as well as on the use of intelligent technologies (piezoelectric materials, magnetorheological fluids, etc.) to modify or study the dynamic behavior of mechanical systems.
